Editorial notes

How to read this map

Each organization appears once in its primary category, even when it spans several. SpaceX, for example, appears under launch although Starlink also belongs in connectivity. Grain Management appears under connectivity because spectrum ownership is central to direct-to-device service.

Funding figures are announced round sizes, and some announcements combine equity with debt or credit facilities. The date is the public announcement date. Company descriptions and status notes can change; use the linked first-party source for current details.

Partner links are marked "Partner link" and use sponsored link attributes. No entries have one yet. We may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Partnerships never affect whether or how a company is listed.

Coverage is global but selective, with an emphasis on firms building or financing space-specific products and services. Government agencies, universities, and most downstream customers are outside this edition.
